Testimonial
Dear Mr. Parisi:
I ordered and
read your book about BPH just last month. First of all, I want to
express my thanks for all your efforts. I have been struggling with BPH
for over 4 years and this is far and away the best source of information
I have found. I also appreciate it because it is written by someone who
has suffered from the condition and it therefore has an aura of
credibility about it.
As you said, men
have a tendency to suffer in silence and do not readily want to share
their experiences and their emotions. That may be one reason that, while
there are millions of men dealing with BPH, you don't hear much about
how they're feeling, Well, guys are guys, and our nature is not likely
to change any time soon.
For two months, I
have been doing my best to follow your recommendations. I don't smoke
and have cut down on the meat. I am walking every day; working out 3
times a week with (admittedly light) weights.
For four years, I
searched vainly for a cure for my BPH, the magic bean, the silver
bullet. I took drugs and treatment of all kinds, even had tubes stuck up
my penis. I prayed each time that it would be the cure. I combed the
internet looking for remedies and, ultimately, even went to the extreme
of taking mood-altering drugs, in the hope of making myself whole again,
being perfect like I used to be.
The irony is that
every doctor I have been to has marveled at how healthy my prostate is
for my age. It is pretty small in size and in good shape. However, it is
clearly blocking flow to some extent, as that flow meter test revealed.
So, what conclusions, if any, can be drawn from my peculiar experience?
It is risky to generalize - these ideas are pure speculation. I think
that the general mood may play a major role in the seriousness of BPH.
Even after only
two months on your plan, there has been a fairly dramatic effect.
I still get
depressed on occasion. But I feel like I basically have beat it. I am
enjoying my life again and have had some high-quality days.
What more can we
ask for, at this age?
I hope more
people buy your book. It's a bargain. And I hope you have a long and
happy life.
Sincerely,
Steve B.
